Lifting Facial
We reposition the deep tissues of the face and neck to restore firmness lost over time. A procedure designed to soften the signs of aging, naturally restoring definition to your facial contour.
Firmness and Definition
Rejuvenate Without Losing Your Essence
Over the years, it’s not just the skin that gives way, but also the internal structures that support the face. Modern facial lifting is not about aggressively “pulling” the skin, but about repositioning the muscles and deep tissues back to their original place. My goal is to restore freshness to your features and define the contour of your jawline and neck, achieving an elegant result where you look renewed, not transformed.
What is the procedure like?
We analyze your facial structure and the degree of laxity in the cheeks and neck. We design the incisions so they are strategically hidden within the natural contours of the ear and hairline.
In the operating room, we do not work only on the surface. We lift and tighten the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) to provide lasting, structural support to the face.
Once the internal tissues have been repositioned, we adjust the excess skin without excessive tension. This is key to avoiding an “over-pulled” appearance and ensuring your expression remains your own.
We use very fine sutures and precision plastic surgery techniques so that the scars are virtually imperceptible once they mature.
Recommendations for your well-being
Before the surgery:
If you have hypertension, it must be fully controlled, as high blood pressure increases the risk of bruising.
We recommend washing your hair with an antiseptic shampoo the day before and not dyeing it during the week prior to surgery.
Inform us about the use of anticoagulants and aspirin, and discontinue supplements such as Omega 3, Vitamin E, garlic, and ginkgo biloba 15 days beforehand to avoid excessive bruising.
After the surgery:
You may need to wear a soft chin strap for the first few days to help define the neck and reduce swelling.
Direct sun exposure on the face is prohibited during the first month to prevent darkening of scars and bruises.
Avoid sudden movements or forcefully turning your head during the first 2 weeks to avoid putting tension on the sutures.
You may resume gentle makeup once the stitches are removed (usually after 10 to 14 days), as per medical instructions.
