Gynecomastia Correction
We restore the flat and masculine shape of the chest by removing excess glandular tissue and fat. A procedure designed to restore your confidence and freedom of movement.
Confidence and Masculinity
More than Aesthetics, it is Freedom
«The excessive development of breast tissue in men is a common condition that can cause discomfort, pain, and limitations in daily life (such as avoiding the beach or wearing baggy clothes). We understand that correcting this isn’t vanity; it’s about reclaiming your confidence. Our approach combines glandular extraction with high-definition liposuction to sculpt a firm, flat, and athletic chest, allowing you to feel comfortable in your own skin once again.
What is the procedure like?
We evaluate whether the volume is due to an excess of gland, fat (pseudogynecomastia), or both. This is vital for defining the exact surgical technique.
«We generally combine two techniques: Liposuction to remove fat and define the pectoral contour, and surgical excision to remove the hard glandular tissue that cannot be removed with liposuction.
We make a small incision at the lower edge of the areola (periareolar). Since it is located at the skin’s color transition, the scar becomes practically invisible once it heals.
«Upon completion, we place a special compression vest that will help the skin adhere to the muscle and prevent fluid buildup.
Recommendations for your well-being
Before surgery:
Laboratory tests and a breast ultrasound to rule out other pathologies.
«Avoid the consumption of steroids or hormonal supplements (if applicable) weeks before the surgery, as they can influence the growth of breast tissue.
«Stop smoking 3 weeks before to ensure perfect healing of the areola.
After surgery:
It is essential to wear the compression vest day and night for 3 to 4 weeks to mold the chest.
«You can walk from the first day, but you must avoid lifting weights or doing arm/chest exercises during the first month.
In some cases, we leave a small drain in place for a few days to prevent bruising; managing it is very simple.
«You can return to the gym (lower body) after 3 weeks and gradually resume chest exercises after the sixth week.
