Eye Rejuvenation

A comprehensive approach to eliminate a tired appearance. We combine eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) with brow lifting to restore brightness to your eyes and achieve a fresh, well-rested expression.

Freshness and Light

A Look That Reflects Your Energy

The eyes are the first thing we notice when communicating. Over time, drooping eyebrows or excess skin on the eyelids can give you a sad or tired appearance that doesn’t match how you truly feel. This procedure does not aim to change the shape of your eyes, but rather to clear and refresh your gaze. By repositioning the eyebrows and treating the eyelids, we “open up” the frame of your face so you look more awake, vibrant, and naturally rejuvenated.

What is the procedure like?

We evaluate whether your “tired look” is due to fat bags, excess skin, or brow descent. We design a plan that may include upper and/or lower blepharoplasty and/or brow pexy (lift).

We subtly lift the tail of the eyebrow to open up your gaze and refresh the upper third of the face. At the same time, we address excess skin and fat pads, leaving a barely noticeable scar.

We treat the lower “bags” to eliminate a puffy appearance and, if necessary, remove skin, restoring brightness and a well-rested look to your eyes.

It is an outpatient procedure. You will leave with very discreet protective tapes. Swelling is normal during the first few days, but visual recovery is quick.

Recommendations for your well-being

Before the surgery:

If you use eye drops for dry eyes or have any ophthalmologic conditions, inform us beforehand.

Arrive for surgery with a completely clean face, with no trace of makeup or false eyelashes.

Inform us about the use of anticoagulants and discontinue supplements such as Omega 3, Vitamin E, garlic, and ginkgo biloba 15 days beforehand to avoid excessive bruising.

After the surgery:

Apply cold compresses (indirect ice) continuously during the first 48 hours; this is the key to reducing swelling quickly.

Wear dark sunglasses when going out during the first month to protect sensitive skin and prevent bruising from darkening.

Use the ophthalmic drops (artificial tears) that we prescribe to prevent eye dryness.

Sleep with your head elevated (two or three pillows) during the first nights to reduce eyelid swelling in the morning.
